About Me

Hi. I'm Luis. I'm from the UK, and like nerdy things like space and coding. I'm incredibly introverted, to the point where I feel being sent to Mars alone would probably be quite nice. I can also solve the Rubik's cube in under 40 seconds, with my personal best being 26.3 seconds. That's pretty much my only party trick. I stared coding back in 2012 when Minecraft was changing from 1.2 to 1.3. I had an idea to make a mod, which involved me learning java. That mod, despite still being in my backups, is long gone as it's terrible. Regardless, I still code things for Minecraft, mainly Spigot things for the server I'm proud to be a part of called VillageCraft. Over the years, I've learned how to write things in Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Node.JS and a little bit of Lua. Java and CSS are my strong points though. I helped with the styling of the /r/feedthebeast subreddit, which I guess is my claim to fame. I've also done a few other little Java things, but none of them were ever released.

This website was made to replace the old Wordpress one I had. That was terrible. This one was made with Adobe Dreamweaver, as I figured if I'm paying for CC I may as well use as much of it as I can. It uses the Linear theme, as I had no idea how to create a website from scratch in here. My assets subdomain uses the Apaxy theme, so I designed this main site to use the same colours, as I like things to be consistent. The font I've used is Open Sans, as I feel it looks really nice. I'll probably use it in other places too. Until I saw it used in Apaxy, I was going to use Diosis, as I liked how informal yet easy-reading it looked. I may still use it for something one day, who knows. The image I've used for the header is of the Alps. I took it from my phone when I went to Geneva, and I didn't really have time to set up a good shot. I'm no photographer, so feel free to critisise it. I know it's bad, don't worry :)
